Helping You Train Your Dog, Because the Real Success Starts at Home

At Avid K9, my focus isn’t on taking the leash for you, I’m here to put the leash in your hands with confidence. I specialize in teaching owners how to effectively train, communicate with, and understand their dogs using a play-based, relationship-first approach. My training isn’t about running your dog through rehearsed commands, it’s about helping you build real-life skills that strengthen your bond, reduce frustration, and create lasting change.

Whether you're working through behavioral challenges, setting the foundation with a new puppy, or just wanting a more connected partnership with your dog, my role is to guide and support you every step of the way. Because when training is done with intention, and you’re the one leading it, the results are not only more meaningful, but they last.

Step One: Choose Your Training Format
Start with private, in-person training if you’re looking for hands-on guidance and real-time support. These sessions allow me to work directly with you and your dog, helping you build clear communication, confidence, and practical skills in real-life situations.

Prefer more flexibility? Virtual sessions are also available and a great option if you want personalized coaching from anywhere. You’ll still get structured, goal-oriented guidance while learning how to become your dog’s best trainer in your everyday environment.

Step Two: Book a Consultation
The consultation is the first official step in your training journey. This session allows us to meet, discuss your dog’s needs, and determine the best approach for your goals.
You’ll get tips to help you prepare, and if we’re a good fit, I’ll recommend a program tailored to you. There’s no pressure to sign up after, it’s about finding what’s best for your dog.

Step Three: Prepare for Your Consultation
Before our meeting, gather any important details you’d like to share, videos of behavior, recent history, or questions you want to cover.
If anyone in your household will be part of the training process, make sure they attend the consultation. The more I know about your dog and your goals, the better I can help you build an effective plan.

Step Four: Enroll in Your Training Program
Once you’ve chosen a program, you’ll receive an enrollment link with all the details. Payment is due in full before your first session, and each program has a set expiration date to keep momentum strong.
Note: Sessions are non-transferable to other people or dogs. Please review policies before starting, including age limits and attendance rules.

Step Five: Become Part of the Alumni Group
When you complete your training program, you’ll gain access to my exclusive Alumni group!
This includes:
✔️ Discounted rates on select future programs
✔️ Priority booking for special events and workshops
✔️ Early access to seasonal offers and new services

It’s my way of saying thank you, and continuing to support your journey long after the sessions end.
