These evaluations assess your dog's ability to remain under control, behave politely around people and other dogs, and demonstrate responsible behavior in real-world situations.
Testing Fee
$55 per evaluation
What to Expect
The evaluation consists of a series of exercises designed to measure your dog's manners, obedience, and ability to remain calm in a variety of situations. Dogs that successfully pass the evaluation are eligible to submit the required paperwork to the AKC and receive their official title.
Requirements
Dogs must be healthy and able to safely participate.
Dogs should be comfortable around people and other dogs.
A flat collar, martingale, harness, or standard leash may be used unless otherwise specified by AKC regulations.
Proof of AKC registration is recommended for title processing.
